Waste to Energy Pte Ltd

StratCon Singapore Pte Ltd is a shareholder in this joint venture with Pacific Solutions Ltd (technologists) and E&Co Inc (financiers) to design build own and operate biogas facilities from agricultural liquid wastes. StratCon built the management team and project pipeline for the company since its inception in 2005.

The joint venture is confining its activities to Cambodia and Vietnam due to limited financial resources and the presence of a strong local partner, HD&L Co Ltd.

The joint venture has two projects in Cambodia.

• TTY Corporation Ltd is a large cassava starch processing company with a biogas plant in development for the waste. The project has been delayed by financial constraints. W2E is the development consultant only to the TTY project.
• The more successful project is located at Siang Phong Development Agriculture Co Ltd. E&co managed to co- fund this project and it is expected to be commissioned in Q3 2011. W2E Cambodia is the design build and operate contractor and W2E Holdings Pte Ltd is a minority shareholder.

Mr Geoffrey James is managing the joint venture as it emerges from the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.
