Stratcon Singapore Pte Ltd and CST Industries Inc. sign a term consulting agreement to promote the use of bolted steel tanks in Asia. Bolted steel tanks provide a higher safety performance and are highly suited to industrial and process applications. Commonly these installations are co-located at agricultural processing facilities.

- Stratcon Australia Pty Ltd and Viridis Solutions Pty Ltd, experts in water and wastewater, sign an export alliance agreement to work on projects in Asia using Australian technology and know how. The Alliance will be know as the Australian Biological Alliance (ABA) and will focus on cleaning waste from agriculture. Viridis Director, Steven Harding, has high hopes that this alliance will spur more Australian companies to export their services to the fast growing markets in Asia.

- Ground works completed at W2E Siang Phong Biogas project in Cambodia. Geoffrey James, W2E Project Director, announced the completion of ground works for the biogas plant at Siang Phong Development Agriculture Co Ltd in Kampong Cham, Cambodia. Geoffrey was delighted to authorize the filling of the covered in-ground anaerobic reactor (CIGAR). The Project will create 27,121 Tonnes CO2 equivalent of CERs. It will also create 1.3 MWe of renewable energy for the factory. The Project is due for commissioning Q3 2011.

Stratcon Singapore Pte Ltd completes pre-feasibility study for Sinova Holdings Ltd for Municipal Solid Waste to Energy Plants in the Philippines. The study involved the assessment of a number of sites and preliminary waste characterization for two sites. The project will proceed to bankable feasibility study in the near term.
